After graduation, completion of studies or retirement, you will no longer be able to use the Zengaku Computer System (including your email address ending with @s.tsukuba.ac.jp and @u.tsukuba.ac.jp), the Access Point Connections, and the software programs licensed through the university. Also, if you advance to graduate school, your student ID number will change and therefore you will not be able to use your current ID.

E-mail
Students can also use @u mail from 3/5/2023. All communications from our university will be sent to @u.
Students who were enrolled before 2023 can continue to use @s mail, but please use @u mail from now on.
Students (including credited Auditors, non-degree Research Students, etc.) who graduate at the end of the 2022 academic year will be able to continue to use the @u email address they used while at the University after graduation, completion of studies. However, the mailbox size after graduation is 50 GB. If you have already exceeded 50GB, we recommend that you organize it before graduation/completion.
Please note that @u e-mail service may be terminated due to unavoidable circumstances of the university.
You will still be able to use your @u email address after graduation, but all M365 related applications and data will no longer be available, including OneDrive. Please make a copy of your OneDrive data to removable media (USB memory stick, etc.) by yourself.The @s e-mail system account will be locked after you graduate or completion of studies, and you will not be able to sign in.
Your e-mail forwarding will take place for at least 10 days after graduation, completion of studies.
After that, you will no longer be able to use your e-mail anymore.

If you change your student ID number due to entering graduate school, etc., your existing account will be deleted, and all data (Except @u mail data) stored in M365 will be deleted. -

Data
You will not be able to log in into the terminals (PCs) in the satellite computer rooms, the UNIX servers, or the remote desktop servers.
Please copy all the necessary data on a removable media (USB etc.) BEFORE graduating, completing your studies or retiring. -
Access Point Connections
You will no longer be able to use the Access Point Connections, including On-Campus Wi-Fi System, Zengaku Information Outlet and Network System etc. If you advance to graduate school, you can continue to use them with your current account until you receive your new account.

Licensed software
You will lose the right to use the software programs licensed through the university, including Microsoft 365, so you must uninstall them from your own PC or device.
