From Principles in Living system to Biotech Innovation
Adaptation, evolution, survivability, sustainability, etc., are quantitatively evaluated by the growth fitness in common. The extrinsic and intrinsic factors, i.e., the genomics and environments, contributing to the cell growth are analyzed, to discover the working principles of living cells as the complex systems, as well as, to develop the novel technologies for cell growth control.
Contents and keywords
Interdisciplinary studies on the growth of living cells are mainly performed. The experimental and analytical tools in both life science (e.g., cell culture) and computer science (e.g., bioinformatics, machine learning) are utilized to analyze the genetic and environmental systems.
